Northport Man Seriously Injured In Wrong-Way Kings Park Crash

William Seitz was reportedly driving a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on St. Johnland Road near Squire Lane when his vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a 2016 Chrysler driven by Carissa Clancy June 26 at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Seitz, 54, of Northport, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Clancy, 26, of Kings Park, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, said police.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, according to police
